By Huseyn Veliyev - Trend:

The new MFS (Mobile Finances Services) service of Azerbaijan's mobile operator, Azercell Telekom LLC will pass the period of implementation by late 2014, the company told Trend.

The launch of MSF service requires large investments, while revenues of the operator from rendering this service will be not as significant, the LLC said.

"The main purpose of launching the service is to provide facilities for the final consumer in the implementation of mobile payments. Mobile operator can not render banking services, as well as a bank can not render operator services. In this case we are talking about uniting the efforts of the bank and the operator for rendering of such services. At the moment all stages of the work have passed, and only the implementation of the project remains," the company said.

MFS service will allow payments for goods and services in the country, and also money transfers within Azerbaijan and beyond. Connection to the service does not require changing the Sim-card.
