Much work was conducted as part of "Temiz Binagadi" project, implemented in Binagadi district of Baku in connection with the preparation for the European Games, to be held in Baku in 2015, the Binaqadi Executive Power of Baku told Trend.
In particular, a meeting with the young volunteers was held and a mobile group of volunteers consisting of 40 people was created as part of the project.
Moreover, a new recreation park was set up on Adil Mammadov Street in the ninth district of Baku. The cleaning operations were accelerated at all administrative-territorial areas of the district as part of this project. The representatives of the Hygiene and Epidemiology Center disinfected the areas of household waste.
"Temiz Binagadi" posters were stacked on the cars of the
representatives of the offices and enterprises as part of the project to conduct advertising among the population.
The posters about the beginning of "Temiz Binagadi" project implementation were placed in the above-ground crossings in the district.
The panels were installed on the Baku-Sumgayit road, passing through the territory of the district as part of the "Temiz Binagadi" project.
At the same time, volunteers prepared videos to enlighten the public as part of the project on social networks.
"Avto Akademiya Binagadi" project was launched in the Heydar Aliyev Park of Culture and Rest in the Binagadi district to support the "Temiz Binagadi" social project.
Moreover, a campaign was conducted as part of the "Temiz Binagadi" project. The public of this district and young volunteers cleaned the beaches on the territory of Binagadi district
removing household waste as part of the project. They informed people about the project and gave them information leaflets.
"A Day Without a Polyethylene" campaign was held as part of the project. The social campaign was organized upon a joint initiative of the Azerbaijani paper and paperboard production combine "Azersun Holding" and the Binagadi executive power of Baku. Adil Mammadov Street in the ninth district was cleared of polyethylene and plastic waste. All collected waste was sent for recycling.
Head of Executive power of the Binagadi district Khaladdin Isgenderov met with volunteers of the project and young activists of the district in order to listen to the views and suggestions of young people.
The project`s volunteers have created the character of "The Green Man" and presented an introductory video.
The campaign held within the framework of the "Temiz Binagadi " project covered part of Abay Kunanbayev street and the seventh district of Baku. The participants of the campaign, organized on the initiative of "HB.Co.LTD" cleaned the area from waste, dry leaves, organized care for the trees, collected plastic waste.
Along with this, an action to collect garbage and other waste was held within the "Temiz Binagadi"project. The campaign took place on the Shovket Mammmadova, Ibrahimpasha Dadashov, Nizami and Narimanov streets.
"Most clean facility", "Cleanest kindergarten", "Exemplary health facility", "The cleanest school", "The cleanest territory of housing and communal services", "Cleanest private house" contests were held by the businesses located in the territory of the district.
"Temiz Binagadi" social project was launched in July , 2014 in connection with the preparation for the European games, which will be held in Baku in 2015. Its objectives are accelerated continuation of works on the landscaping of the territories of settlements and districts, streets and yards, keeping buildings, courtyards, streets clean and in order, as well as to protect and maintain green spaces and gardens. "Coca Cola" is the partner of the project.
