An earthquake occurred in Zardab region of Azerbaijan, the Republican Seismological Service Center of the National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) said Aug. 31.
The quake was recorded at 23:03 local time on August 30, 10 kilometers north-west of Zardab city. Its magnitude was 4.0 The epicenter was at a depth of 36 kilometers.
The earthquake was not felt.
