The first group of Belarus athletes will arrive in Baku for the European Games on June 10, Belarus Belteleradiocompany said on its website.

The Belarus' delegation is comprised of more than 150 athletes.

Belarusian athletes will be present in the following disciplines: acrobatics, boxing, freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, cycling, beach volleyball, sports and gymnastics, rowing and canoeing, judo, swimming, synchronized swimming, diving, trampolining, archery, shooting sports, table tennis, triathlon, fencing, badminton, karate, taekwondo, sambo.

The article also said that the European Games in Baku will be one of the most important preparation stages for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

The Belarusian viewers will be able to watch the brightest moments of the First European Games on TV channels Belarus 1, Belarus 2 and Belarus 5.

The channel Belarus 5 will present a live coverage of almost all games of the European continent, including strength sports, cycling and shooting.

In addition, every day the air of the channel will include a special project "European Games. Baku-2015. The Outcome of the Day" and stories from the spot.

Reruns of the highlights of the competition will be seen on TV channel Belarus 2.

The live broadcast of the Closing Ceremony of the European Games will start on June 28 on TV channels Belarus 1 and Belarus 5.

Baku 2015 is the first ever European Games, an exciting and innovative multi-sport event for the continent which will take place on June 12-28, 2015.

There will be a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports. More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe will be representing their nations over 17 days of competition.

Baku was awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in December 2012.
