Azerbaijani Data Processing Centre (DPC) has made it possible to pay for fixed telephony and internet services throughout Azerbaijan using the terminals known as Easypay.
The DPC is included into the Azerbaijani Communications and High Technologies Ministry.
A contract for payment services was inked by the DPC, Easypay Ltd., and the telecommunication nodes of Azerbaijani state-run operators (Aztelecom PA and Baku Telephone Communications PA), the DPC told Trend Sept. 11.
The DPC experts developed software for the payment system as well.
Using the system the fixed telephony subscribers can request information about their debts, or pay for telephony services, long-distance and international telecommunications services, as well as the internet services.
All the payments will be automatically recorded in the billing system of the DPC.
