Azerbaijan imposes restrictions on import of precious metals for personal use

Individuals are now able to move not more than 20 grams of gold and gold jewelry and no more than 0.5 carat of diamonds for personal use without paying customs duty through the customs border of Azerbaijan, the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, published in the official press, said.

Individuals are now able to move not more than 20 grams of gold and gold jewelry and no more than 0.5 carat of diamonds for personal use without paying customs duty through the customs border of Azerbaijan, the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, published in the official press, said.

According to the decision, individuals are able to move not more than 20 grams of gold and gold jewelry or household goods, 0.5 carat of processed, sorted, faceted and fixed diamonds for personal use through the customs border of Azerbaijan

Also the list includes three liters of alcoholic beverages and 600 cigarettes, imported by individuals for personal use, as well as, fuel in the tank of a car of an individual in the volume set by the registration certificate.
