In January-October 2015, nearly 1 billion manats was allocated for the payment of interest on loans in Azerbaijan, or 2.9 percent of the income of the population, noted a report by the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan for the first10 months of 2015.

Some 76.3 percent of income was directed to final consumption expenditure; 9.3 percent to taxes, social insurance, and voluntary membership fees; and 11.5 percent for other charges, according to the report.

In total, in January-October 2015, the income of the Azerbaijani population increased compared to the same period last year by 5.7 percent, reaching 33.5 billion manats.

The average monthly nominal wage increased for the period by 4.4 percent, rising to 461.1 manats.
