Azerbaijani satellite operator, Azercosmos JSC, purchases server hardware for the conditional access system, the Azerbaijani State Procurement Agency said.
Azerbaijani BestcompGroup IT-company has been selected equipment supplier, and a contract worth more than 81,500 manats was signed with this company November 25, 2015.
The satellite operator has also signed a contract worth more than 2.5 million manats to lay an alternative electric grid at the main ground satellite control center. Bakelektro OJSC was chosen as a contractor.
Azercosmos OJSC was established in accordance with the Azerbaijani president's decree as of May 3, 2010 to launch a telecommunication satellite into orbit, to manage it and to conduct the operations. Azercosmos's shares are state-owned.
