Chairman of the Azerbaijani Unibank's Supervisory Board Eldar Garibov was appointed the head of the Council of Trustees of the Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund (ADIF).
In his new position Garibov replaces Chingiz Asadullayev, chairman of the Azerbaijani AG Bank's Supervisory Board, said ADIF on its website Jan. 22.
Chairman of Unibank's Management Board Faig Huseynov was appointed the deputy head of ADIF's Council of Trustees.
Earlier, this position was occupied by Yalchin Azizov, head of the department of planning and forecasting at the Economy Ministry of Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani Deposit Insurance Fund started to operate on August 13, 2007.
