Leyla Nabiyeva has been appointed director of International Cooperation and Communication Department of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the bank's website reported.
Earlier, Nabiyeva was head of Department for Prudential Policy and Methodology, according to the bank's website. The mentioned department was liquidated in connection with the transfer of these privileges to the Azerbaijan's Financial Market Supervisory Body.
The head of the liquidated (after creation of the supervisory body) Financial Monitoring Service Adishirin Gasymov has been appointed head of the Governor Office of the bank.
In this month of April, changes already occurred in the structure of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
Earlier, Ali Ahmadov was named the director of bank's Market Operations Department. Prior to that, Ahmadov served as deputy director of the mentioned department.
The position of the director of the Market Operations Department was vacant after the appointment of Nigar Mammadova as the deputy head of the Board of Directors of the Financial Market Supervisory Body in accordance with the decree of Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev dated March 28, 2016.
