The parliamentary election in Azerbaijan is being held in accordance with the European standards, head of the observers from Italy, parliament member Sergio Divina told Trend Nov.1.
Italian observers visited eight polling stations in the center of Baku and beyond the city in the morning, he said.
Divina noted that the organization in the polling stations is excellent and the parliamentary election is being held at the same level as in Europe.
No violations of law have been recorded in the voting process, said the observer.
The parliamentary election is being held in Azerbaijan Nov. 1.
Some 503 international observers from 40 organizations and over 66,000 local observers monitor the parliamentary election in Azerbaijan.
As many as 767 candidates claim for 125 seats in the Azerbaijani parliament.
