On May 17 Baku as part of the Eurovision 2012 song contest will host a Georgian party, the Georgian Public Broadcasting (GPB) said on Thursday.

According to information, Georgia will be the first to receive the delegation of the Eurovision 2012 participating countries. Guests invited to the party will be able to taste Georgian wine, cheese and sweets. The party will take place in the Euroclub.

Such Georgian singers as Nini Shermadini, Nino Dzotsenidze, Veriko Turashvili, living in Azerbaijan as well as Manana Japaridze, and Anri Jokhadze will perform at the party.

With the song 'I'm a Joker' Anri Jokhadze won the national contest in Georgia on February 19. Lyricist Bibi Kvachadze and composer Rusudan Chkhaidze wrote the song and a new arrangement belongs to Gigi Kukhianidze. Director Lasha Oniani worked on the set design.

The Georgian delegation headed to Azerbaijan on Tuesday. Anri Jokhadze, who will represent Georgia at the Eurovision 2012, already had the first rehearsal on the Baku Crystal Hall stage. In the second semi-final, on May 24, he will perform under number 12.
