Working out the theoretical principles for the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement once more gives a testimony that Azerbaijan and its people are committed to peaceful resolution of the conflict, Azerbaijani ambassador to Great Britain Fakhraddin Gurbanov said making a speech in London.

The House of Lords hosted a presentation of the book titled 'Conceptual basis for rehabilitation of the post-conflict territories of Azerbaijan' in London.

The authors of the book are editor-in-chief of the Caucasus and Globalization magazine Nazim Muzaffarli and head of the Institute of Strategic Studies of the Caucasus (ISSC) Eldar Ismayilov.

According to the ambassador, in theory for the settlement of any conflict the core theoretical principles of the conflict process are essential.

"The authors of the book did a tremendous work by compiling all materials and analyzing them. The specialists on international relations and law have written dozens of books on the subject of conflict resolution, and I am glad that two Azerbaijani authors wrote a knowledge based book about Nagorno-Karabakh conflict," said the ambassador.

According to the ambassador, the book is a good point of academic reference for politicians, specialists on international relations, experts on the South Caucasus region and as well as university students attending the courses on conflict studies.

Gurbanov said the launch of the book is one of many projects that the Britain Azerbaijan Business Council is implementing. "I hope that the Council will further continue to carry out projects aimed at raising the awareness about the realities of Azerbaijan in UK," said the ambassador.
