A list of religious monuments destroyed by Armenians in the Azerbaijani occupied territories has been prepared. It includes 67 monuments, chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Elshad Iskandarov told media today.
He added that this list was presented at the previous conference on 'Model of tolerance in Azerbaijan in the context of multiculturalism in Europe'.
"The matter rests in the monuments belonging to the Albanian and Christian churches misappropriated by the Armenians," he said. "We will also inform the world about of the Islamic heritage monuments and religious centres in the occupied territories."
The chairman of the committee stressed that this information is of great interest to the world community.
