The Parliament of Slovenia will hold hearings on Nagorno-Karabakh on May 17.

Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan, massive and flagrant violations of the rights of nearly one million Azerbaijanis in the occupied territories at the hands of Armenia as well as the extent of material and moral damage caused to Azerbaijan as a result of the occupation of its territories will be among issues to be discussed during the hearings to be held in the National Assembly (Parliament) of Slovenia.

The delegation led by the head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Euronest PA Elkhan Suleymanov will visit Slovenia. During the visit, members of the Azerbaijani delegation will meet with the chairman of the National Assembly Janko Weber, the Prime Minister of Slovenia Alenka Bratushek, members of the Parliamentary Committee for Foreign Policy and the Committee on the European Union as well as with members of the Slovenian-Azerbaijani Friendship Group.

In addition, the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Natig Aliyev will meet with the Minister of Economic Development and Technology of Slovenia Stanko Stepishnik.

During the visit, the delegation will also visit the grave of the Azerbaijani hero Mehdi Huseynzadeh in Chepovan.

The Azerbaijani delegation includes the Minister of Energy Natig Aliyev, MPs Gudret Hasanguliev, Fazil Mustafa and Jeyhun Osmanli.
