The Azerbaijani Defence Ministry has held an extended board meeting at one of the military units located on the frontline area, according to the ministry's message.
The meeting, chaired by Azerbaijani Defence Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, discussed reforms carried out in the armed forces, combat readiness, the defence system, its organisation and comprehensive support, as well as several service issues.
In addition, the commanders of military units and officials made reports. The minister gave instructions on improvement of the defence line and increasing the combat effectiveness of troops.
The meeting was attended by deputy defence ministers, commanders of military units and armed forces personnel, heads of main directorates, departments and independent services of the ministry, commanders and chiefs of staffs.
