Azerbaijan’s defense minister holds meeting with officers (PHOTO)

Azerbaijan's Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov and the Defense Ministry's commanding staff held a meeting with commanders and other staff officers of the frontline units, read the message issued by the ministry Apr. 27.

Reports on current operational situation, status of combat readiness, defense system and its full application and other service related issues were presented to the minister during the meeting.

Hasanov tasked commanders and officers to focus on combat readiness of personnel taking into account the complexity of the relief and terrain characteristics, to increase the vigilance in execution of combat duty, and to be ready to execute any given combat mission accurately and in time.
