VOTING FOR IRANIAN PRESIDENT SUSPENDED IN BAKU

Voting for the second round of the presidential elections on Iran has been postponed for 4 hours. The Consular Department of the Iranian embassy in Baku told Trend that it was linked with the delay in delivery of ballot papers.

В"The voting will start after 12.00 [Baku time] and will surely affect on the term of completion of voting,” the same source said. The same time the Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Aliafshar Suleymani will also vote with 5-hour delay. More than 1000 Iranian citizens are expected to participate in the elections, including 700 in Baku and 300 in Nakhchivan.
