(РђRKA) OSCE does not support any of the parties of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the OSCE chairman Dimitri Rupel told the news conference in Erevan. According to Rupel, during the meeting the parties exchanged views in regard to the situation in Nagorny Karabakh and the ways for its solution. He stressed, OSCE is the partner of the both sides and its goal is achieving the settlement of the conflict.
As Rupel noted, it is necessary to develop cooperation between Armenia and Azerbaijan in this issue. В"I have a clear message from the President of Azerbaijan to the Armenian President, whom I am to meet on 6 September. I hope, the negotiations will be held shortly at the Presidential level and at the level of Foreign Ministers, which will facilitate the conflict settlement. We have not much time for the solution of the Karabakh conflict”, OSCE chairman said. Rupel has also voiced hope for the constructive dialogue of the two peoples, during which the conflict’s solution will be found.
