The Azerbaijani State Border Service has issued an official statement in connection with the death of a soldier at the Shamkir Military UnitNo.N..
Sergeant Mukhtar Gambarli fell from a barrack's fourth floor, the service told Trend.
Although Gambarli was hospitalized and received medical care, he died.
Gambarli was enlisted from the Guba Military Commissariat in January.
The Gazakh Regional Military Prosecutor's Office filed a criminal case. The incident is under investigation.
