A resident of the Ujar region of Azerbaijan was killed after being knocked down by the goods train, a statement posted on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on Tuesday says.
According to the statement, the goods train hit Nizami Hajiyev in the village of Alykend of the Ujar region on July 29 at 23:30.
Hajiyev died at the scene of severe wounds, according to the information.
General Police Department of the Interior Ministry is conducting investigations into the accident.
