An earthquake has occurred in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.
Tremors were registered at 11:38 on January 23 in the Caspian Sea, 145 kilometres north-east of Nardaran, the Republican Seismological Service Centre of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) told Trend today.
The earthquake magnitude was 3.3 with tremors occurring at a depth of 34 kilometres.
