An armed incident took place in Azerbaijani capital of Baku on March 24.
Two people, Yaqub Musayev, born 1994 and Parvin Mehdiyev, born 1991, were shot by an unidentified person in the Zabrat settlement of Baku, Sabunchu District Police Department told Trend.
Musayev died at the scene, while Mehdiyev was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
The perpetrator's identity and the cause of the incident have not yet been established.
A criminal case was launched into the incident at the Sabunchu district prosecutor's office and an investigation is underway.
