Kabul International Airport suffered from rocket attacks today. This was reported TASS, citing the Afghan Press agency KHaama, the Voice of Russia reported.
Preliminary reports suggest a number of rockets landed near Kabul airport and a number of people were injured following the attack.
The security officials have not commented regarding the incident so far.
In the meantime, a security official said a rocket fired from Dehsabz area, landed close to the vicinity of the airport.
Last time Kabul Airport was attacked by the Taliban on May 12, marking the start of large-scale "summer offensive", whose objectives were the state institutions and facilities of the security forces. Then two rockets landed on a runway that led to the suspension of all flights.
