An earthquake occurred in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, the Republican Seismological Service Center of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences said Sept. 21.
The earthquake was recorded at 05:47 in the Caspian Sea, some 75 km to the North of Baku.
The magnitude of the earthquake was 3 on the Richter scale, while its center was at a depth of 35 kilometers.
