The Interior Ministry bodies of Azerbaijan recorded 24 criminal facts on 24 October 2005, the press service of the Interior Ministry told Trend.
20 of these facts have been disclosed. 14 persons being on search on various articles of the Azerbaijan’s Criminal Code have been arrested and delivered to the investigation bodies. 5 road accidents have been registered during the day, at the result of which 12 persons died, 15 were injured. 2 fire cases have been also recorded.
At the result of operative and search measures held by the law enforcement bodies in regard to illegal keeping of drugs 1 fact has been registered, and on ammunitions вЂ" 1 fact. 22 people have been arrested for committing crimes.
