Azerbaijan's Military Doctrine will be developed by early next 2010, Vahid Aliyev, Presidential Adviser on Military Matters, told Trend .
Azerbaijan's Military Doctrine was expected to be discussed during the spring session of the Azerbaijani parliament, but it was not included in the agenda.
The NATO gave positive feedback on the Military Doctrine. Currently, a document "Review of Strategic Defense in the years 2009-2015", which will reflect the principles of military doctrine is under development.
According to Aliyev, a document that is to prepared by late 2009-early 2010, will be presented to the President and publicized.
The document will reflect Azerbaijan's tasks on defense and security and its execution, as well as the duties of all agencies related to security and defense, Aliyev added.
