Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, has congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on Azerbaijan's state independence.
"On behalf of the people and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and on my own, let me sincerely congratulate Your Excellency on the occasion of the Day of State Independence of your country, and wish you good health and happiness, and progress and prosperity to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan", read the King's message.
Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, Defense and Aviation Minister and Inspector General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud has also sent his greetings to the Azerbaijani President.
"I would like to sincerely congratulate Your Excellency on the occasion of the Day of State Independence of your country, and wish you good health and happiness, and further progress and prosperity to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan", he said in congratulatory message.
