Kazakh citizens temporarily residing in Azerbaijan will be able to vote at the polling station established at the Kazakh Embassy in Baku on the day of the country's early parliamentary elections scheduled for Jan.15-16, the Embassy told Trend on Monday.

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed a decree in November to dissolve the Majilis of the Parliament of the fourth convocation. Early elections of members of the Majilis who are nominated on party lists, are scheduled for Jan. 15, 2012, while those elected by the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan are on Jan.16.

Kazakh citizens who reside, or are in the Azerbaijan Republic will be able to vote at polling station No.140 at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Azerbaijan from 09:00 to 20:00 local time. Each voter must be able to produce documents confirming Kazakh citizenship. The CEC of Kazakhstan will establish 56 polling stations abroad.

At present, about 200 Kazakh citizens are on the consular register of the Kazakh Embassy in Azerbaijan, the embassy said.
