The trilateral meeting of Azerbaijani, Turkish and Iranian foreign ministers scheduled for Jan.17 has been postponed to next month, spokesperson for the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry Elman Abdullayev told Trend on Monday.
He said that the postponement is connected with the funeral of the first president of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Rauf Denktas to be held tomorrow. It is the Turkish side that asked to postpone the meeting.
The first such meeting was held in Urmia, Iran in April, 2011.
