The Georgian government has gathered for an emergency meeting today in the evening.

The Cabinet of Ministers will discuss issues of overcoming the consequences of flooding in Tbilisi and several regions of eastern Georgia, the government told Trend.

Minister of Energy Alexander Khetaguri said before the meeting that electricity supply is provided to whole of Georgia and the consequences of flooding for the power industry is overcame.

Allocation of additional 3 million lari ($ 1 = 1.64 lari) to Tbilisi to overcome the consequences of flooding and cover the costs of victim assistance will bee discussed at the meeting. Another three million will be allocated to the regions affected by the floods.

Five peoples were killed in the result of the flooding.
