Azerbaijan is a successful country for holding the intercultural dialogue, ISESCO director general Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri said at the meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, Azerbaijani ministry told Trend on Friday.
Elmar Mammadyarov stressed a high level of cooperation between Azerbaijan and ISESCO and underlined that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the relations with this organization.
The opinions on the conference, dedicated to combating terrorism, to be organized by the Azerbaijani government, UN and ISESCO in Baku next year, were exchanged during the meeting.
On Friday Elmar Mammadyarov also met with Greek former foreign minister, member of the Greek parliament Dora Bakoyannis .
At the meeting Elmar Mammadyarov stressed the potential for expanding and intensifying the relations between the countries in various fields.
Dora Bakoyannis emphasized a high level of organizing the Baku International Humanitarian forum and stressed a high level of relations between Azerbaijan and Greece.
The opinions on a number of issues were also exchanged.
