Several Azerbaijani officials will visit Italy by late 2012. The two countries are expected to hold events in economy and culture, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Italy Vagif Sadikhov told media today.
He said Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev and Interior Minister Ramil Usubov will arrive in Italy.
The agreement will be signed between the relevant departments of the two countries during Abiyev's visit in early November.
Usubov plans to participate in the 81st session of the General Assembly of Interpol in Rome during his visit. Interior Minister will meet with Italian counterpart within the session. The interior ministries of the two countries are expected to sign a cooperation agreement.
Sadikhov said State Border Service head Elchin Guliyev is expected to visit Italy in late 2012.
