Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad denies a political solution to the Syrian crisis deliberately, Al-Arabiya TV channel quotes Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal as saying on Wednesday.
According to al-Faisal, the UN Security Council should do all necessary to overcome the crisis.
He added that the city of Damascus, which has a long history, is subjected to bomb attacks, and at the same time it is impossible to agree with the leader, who is responsible for it.
Anti-government protests have continued in Syria for more than a year and half. According to UN, the total number of victims of the conflict in Syria exceeds 60,000.More than 230,000 have become refugees with around three million in need of humanitarian assistance. The Syrian authorities say they oppose the well-armed militants.
