A meeting with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Morocco was held at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, the ministry reported on Monday.
The Minister for Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov has received Morocco's Interior Minister Mohand Laenser.
During the meeting, the minister informed his guest about the MES and its structures as well as on projects undertaken by the Ministry, spoke about the work carried out with the relevant structures of states with extensive experience in the field of emergency management, as well as in the development of relations with international and regional organizations.
The guest in turn, emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the relevant agencies of the two countries.
The sides discussed a draft of the "Agreement on Cooperation in the field of emergency management between the Government of Azerbaijan and the Government of Morocco."
