There is certain influence of the Syrian conflict on the situation in Iraq, Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari was quoted today by RT TV channel as saying.
He said that Iraq has always stressed that it will be impossible to keep the Syrian conflict within the Syrian boundaries.
"The Syrian crisis will affect such neighboring countries as Iraq, Lebanon, Turkey, Jordan, Israel," Zebari said.
For two years Syrian government forces have been clashing with the armed opposition. According to UN data, the total number of victims of the conflict in Syria has exceeded 70,000 with about three million people need humanitarian aid. Syrian officials claim that they are opposed by well-armed militants.
