Bulgarian ex-President to visit Azerbaijan for South Caucasus forum

Bulgarian ex-President Petar Stoyanov (1997-2002) will visit Azerbaijan to participate at the South Caucasus forum organised by the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre in association with Club of Madrid and with the support of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora, to be held in Baku on May 6-8, the State Committee for Work with Diaspora told Trend today.

Bulgarian ex-President Petar Stoyanov (1997-2002) will visit Azerbaijan to participate at the South Caucasus forum organised by the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre in association with Club of Madrid and with the support of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora, to be held in Baku on May 6-8, the State Committee for Work with Diaspora told Trend today.

"The initiative of organising the discussions on the topic of society in Azerbaijan and the region with the participation of the most influential representatives of the political, cultural and scientific elite of the world is a very important one," he said. "Participation in such a large scale event is very important for us."

It should be stressed that more than 40 former heads of states and governments and around 400 international experts from over 60 countries will attend the South Caucasus forum.

The main partners of the forum are the State Committee for Work with Diaspora, the Library of Alexandria, Foundation for Peace and Ganja's Executive Power.
