Chief of the Azerbaijani State Migration Service Firudin Nabiyev received Iranian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohsen Pakayin, the embassy said.
At the meeting Nabiyev talked about improving the legislation in the field of migration in line with international standards and current requirements. He discussed the measures to combat illegal migration.
The ambassador spoke about the prospects of cooperation between the two countries in the field of migration.
The sides discussed issues of mutual interest at the meeting.
