During the official reception given by the King of Belgium in honor of the new ambassadors credited to the country, King Albert II and Azerbaijan's ambassador to Belgium Fuad Iskanderov held one-on-one discussion of the current state and prospects of further development of political and economic relations, the embassy said on Wednesday.
During the conversation, the ambassador, conveying the best wishes of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Albert II, noted the successful cooperation in the field of construction, health care and energy, and stressed that Azerbaijan is interested in further deepening of these relations.
The King of Belgium, expressing satisfaction with the level of political relations existing between the two countries, asked to convey his sincere greetings to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and expressed confidence in further intensification of relations between the two countries.
