Iran, China sign MOU on security

Tehran and Beijing signed a memorandum on security on July 4 during Iran's Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar's visit to China, IRNA reported today.

Tehran and Beijing signed a memorandum on security on July 4 during Iran's Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar's visit to China, IRNA reported today.

"China can be called as an "Iran's strategic partner"," Najjar said. "Signing of the memorandum on security between two nations opened a new cooperation field in the region."
He declined to mention the content.

IRINN TV channel reported on July 4 that Najjar will meet with Chinese Minister of Public Security to sign MOU.

"Iran and China will sign a memorandum on security and memorandum would be a turning point in bilateral cooperation between the two countries which was already at a high level in various fields including the fight against drug trafficking and international organized crimes," Mohammad Najjar said, IRINN TV's yesterday report added.
