The Chief of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan, Commander of the Azerbaijani Border Guard, Lieutenant General Elchin Guliyev received a delegation headed by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Afghanistan, General Ghulam Mujtaba Patang, the State Border Service reported on Tuesday.
Information about Azerbaijan's system of border security, the service's duties, measures to improve the protection of the state border, as well as the achieved success were presented at the meeting and an exchange of views on the prospects of mutual cooperation was carried out.
The Afghan delegation got acquainted with the activities of Azerbaijan's State Border Service Academy and the Sarhadchi Olympic Sports Complex.
