Azerbaijan's expectation from the youth is the sense of statehood and patriotism, Head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration's Social and Political Department, Ali Hasanov said at the reporting conference of the XETDE Social Networking Academy today.
"In a country where most of the youth is educated, cultured, tolerant towards other languages and cultures, the life of youth is complete, happy and easy," he said. "While fully perceiving the world innovations, they practice these innovations in their country, the state language and culture."
"Each of you is a representative of a common family, one generation, but at the same time each of you is an Azerbaijani citizen, Azerbaijani," he stressed.
"This entrusts each person with the additional responsibility. What is this responsibility? This responsibility is to become the master of the existing heritage of this country and people, to develop it and to assist in the activity on the protection against internal, external threats and pressure directed towards our country. This means to take some responsibility, to become the master of your country and people, and we will be sure that the youth will take care of the nation."
Hasanov underscored that Azerbaijani citizen is at the heart of today's youth policy, internal national policy, and social and information policy.
