Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has familiarized himself with the conditions created at the Flag Square in Salyan.
The Head of State was told that construction of the square started this June and was finished in August.
The square, which occupies a total area of 2.1 hectares, lies on National Hero Nazim Babayev Street. The flag here flies on a 42m-high pole. The flag is 10m in width, and 20m in length.
The President tourned the park that is situated in the square.
