President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva have today attended the opening of a newly remodelled care home for war and industrially disabled people in Bilgah, Baku.

The Head of State viewed photo stands reflecting the previous and current look of the care home.

President Ilham Aliyev and Mrs. Aliyeva toured the facility.

Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Fuzuli Alakbarov informed the President and the first lady that the care home had been in operation since 1964.

All conditions have been created here for war and industrially disabled people.

A new 165-room block, which covers a total area of 10,687 square meters, was built here.

The Azerbaijani leader and his spouse were told that the facility handles up to 300 people after the reconstruction.

The Head of State and Mrs. Aliyeva then met residents of the care home, and had a joint tea party with them.
