Over 25 polling stations created in Azerbaijani Penitentiary Service

The necessary measures have been carried out in all facilities of the Penitentiary Service of the Justice Ministry in Azerbaijan in connection with the upcoming presidential election, spokesman for the Justice Ministry’s Penitentiary Service, Colonel of Justice Mehman Sadikhov told Trend today.

The necessary measures have been carried out in all facilities of the Penitentiary Service of the Justice Ministry in Azerbaijan in connection with the upcoming presidential election, spokesman for the Justice Ministry's Penitentiary Service, Colonel of Justice Mehman Sadikhov told Trend today.

According to him, around 26 polling stations were created in all facilities of the Justice Ministry's Penitentiary Service.

"It can be said that polling stations equipped with the necessary technical and other equipment were created in all facilities," he added. "Lists of voters were compiled. The necessary conditions were created in penitentiary facilities to organize voting in the presidential election in Azerbaijan in a form consistent with the law."

The presidential election in Azerbaijan will be held on October 9. The previous one was held on October 15, 2008. The presidential election in Azerbaijan is held every five years.
