Turkish ex-Minister of Environment and Urban Planning, Erdogan Bayraktar is abandoning his deputy mandate.
Bayraktar, who resigned from minister's post with regard to the fact that his name was mentioned in a corruption scandal, wrote a letter on abandoning his deputy mandate, Turkish newspaper Milliyet reported on Jan. 7.
The MP's resignation may only be decided by the Turkish parliament.
