EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Catherine Ashton is expected to visit Iran, Mehr news agency reported on Jan. 11, quoting Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has invited Catherine Ashton to visit Iran, Araqchi said.
"The EU High Representative may visit the country at any time," he said.
