Azerbaijan is a very important partner of NATO, Romanian ambassador in the country Daniel Ciobanu told journalists on Jan.15.
"Relations between Azerbaijan and NATO have a strategic value," Ciobanu stressed.
The ambassador said that NATO highly appreciate the contribution that Azerbaijan has in Afghanistan not just with troops, but also from financial point of view, as well as from the point of view of transit and training.
Romanian ambassador also welcomed the fact that Afghan specialists are trained in Azerbaijani universities.
