Strengthening of the democracy in the country is a priority for Turkey, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said at a conference of Turkish diplomats, Turkish TRT Haber channel reported today.

"The Turkish government has been doing everything possible to strengthen democracy in the country for 11 years," he said.

He stressed that no world country will be able to normally develop without the strong democracy.

Davutoglu said that the main point for Ankara is that citizens trust their government.

"The government appreciates the human resources of the country," Davutoglu added.
