Opening of the new building of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory is a great event and will give a great impetus to the development of our country's national culture, Azerbaijani First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Mehriban Aliyeva said at the meeting with the magistral staff of the National Conservatory and prominent cultural figures.
It should be recalled that the opening ceremony of a new administrative and educational complex of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory was held in Baku on February 13.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and the First Lady attended the ceremony.
"First of all, I heartily congratulate all of you on the opening of the National Conservatory," Mehriban Aliyeva said. "Of course, this is a big event. And I am sure this will give a great impetus to the development of our country's national culture. Certainly, in such circumstances, the young generation will grow and enrich itself with your experience."
While addressing the outstanding cultural figures, the first lady expressed her deep respect and love for them.
"Every our meeting, communication with you are very valuable for me," she said.
"Today we have heard a lot. All this is true. But I would like to note the following: all of you, of course, are great art figures. But at the same time, you are great personalities. As the president stressed, your commitment to the fine traditions of the Azerbaijani people, lifestyle, modesty are very important for young people and the Azerbaijani society as a whole," she said.
"Thus, for perpetuating human values in our society - as it is very important today, and for perpetuating human values, I wish you health and long life," Mehriban Aliyeva said. "I am also ready to do everything in my power."
It should be stressed that the prominent cultural figures expressed deep gratitude to the president and the first lady at the meeting, for enormous contribution to the development of Azerbaijani national culture and its promotion in the world.
